Robert Behnken

Robert Behnken is a NASA astronaut and engineer with over 20 years of experience in the space industry. He has flown on two space shuttle missions and is currently a member of the NASA Astronaut Corps. Behnken is also a veteran of the US Air Force and has a degree in mechanical engineering from the University of Texas. He is best known for being the first private citizen to fly to space on a commercial spacecraft. In his free time, Behnken enjoys hiking and playing golf. He is originally from San Diego, California.
