Robbie Middleton

Robbie Middleton was a young boy who survived one of the most horrific attacks in 1998, where he was set on fire in a brutal assault. Despite being burned over nearly 99 percent of his body, Robbie survived and underwent over 150 surgeries over thirteen years. His case remained unsolved until his death in 2011, when he made a final videotaped statement identifying his attacker, which changed the direction of the investigation.
