Rik Emmett is a Canadian musician, best known as the lead vocalist and guitarist of the rock band Triumph. Born on September 29, 1952, in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. Emmett is known for his powerful vocals and guitar work on hits like Lay It on the Line and Fight the Good Fight. He has been inducted into the Canadian Songwriters Hall of Fame. After a brief hiatus, Triumph's classic lineup has reunited with new members Phil X, Brent Fitz, and Todd Kerns.
