Rick Vaive

Rick Vaive is a Canadian former professional ice hockey player who played in the National Hockey League (NHL) for 14 seasons. He is widely considered one of the greatest goal scorers in Toronto Maple Leafs history, holding the record for most goals in a season by a Leaf with 54. Vaive was also a key player on the Leafs' 1982 Stanley Cup championship team. After retiring from hockey, Vaive has remained involved in the sport, working as a coach and commentator. He has also been open about his struggles with depression and addiction, using his platform to raise awareness and support for mental health initiatives.
