Richard W. Painter

Richard W. Painter is an American lawyer and politician who served as White House Counsel under President George W. Bush from 2005 to 2007. He is a leading expert on campaign finance law and has written extensively on the topic. Painter is a graduate of Yale Law School and has taught at several law schools.
