Raja Chari

Raja Chari is an American astronaut and engineer. He was born in 1979 in Houston, Texas. Chari earned a bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering from the University of Texas at Austin and a master's degree in aerospace engineering from the University of Michigan. He was selected as an astronaut candidate by NASA in 2009 and has since flown on two space shuttle missions. Chari is also a veteran of the US Air Force, where he served as a fighter pilot. He is currently a NASA astronaut and has been involved in various space-related projects, including the development of the Orion spacecraft. Chari is known for his expertise in spacecraft systems and operations.
