Rafael Gallo is a Portuguese author and poet who won the Prémio Saramago in 2022 for his novel 'Dor Fantasma'. He was born in Brazil and now lives in Portugal. Gallo is known for his lyrical prose and his exploration of themes such as love, loss, and identity. He has published several books of poetry and fiction and is widely regarded as one of the most promising young writers in Portugal.
