R.W. Johnson

R.W. Johnson is a South African author, journalist, and historian. He is best known for his books on South African history and politics. Johnson was born in 1946 in Johannesburg, South Africa. He studied at the University of Cape Town and later worked as a journalist for the Sunday Times. He has written several books on South African history, including the award-winning book 'Shadow of the Reptile'. Johnson has also written for various other publications, including The Times and The Guardian. He is a prominent public intellectual in South Africa and has been a vocal critic of the African National Congress (ANC).
