Pope Leo X

Pope Leo X was the Pope of the Catholic Church from 1513 to 1521. He was a member of the Medici family and was known for his lavish spending and his support of the arts. Leo X was also a strong advocate for the Catholic Church and played a key role in the Protestant Reformation. He was born in Florence, Italy in 1475 and died in Rome, Italy in 1521.
