Narendra Modi is the current Prime Minister of India. He has been serving as the Prime Minister since May 2014. Before entering politics, Modi was a businessman and a member of the Gujarat Legislative Assembly. He was a key figure in the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) and became the party's president in 2005. Modi is known for his strong nationalist and Hindu nationalist views, as well as his economic policies.
