Peppino Impastato

Peppino Impastato was an Italian activist and writer from Palermo, Sicily. He was a prominent figure in the Italian anti-fascist movement and was known for his writings on social and political issues. Impastato was a strong advocate for human rights and social justice. He was assassinated in 1968 by the Sicilian Mafia. Impastato's work continues to be widely read and studied today.
