Paul Erdős

Paul Erdős was a Hungarian mathematician and number theorist who made significant contributions to combinatorial mathematics, number theory, and probability theory. He is considered one of the most prolific mathematicians of the 20th century, publishing over 1,500 papers during his lifetime. Erdős was known for his collaborative work with other mathematicians and his ability to think creatively. He was awarded the Fields Medal in 1936 and was elected a member of the Hungarian Academy of Sciences. Erdős passed away in 1996.
