Paul Blackburn is an American professional baseball pitcher who has played in Major League Baseball (MLB) for the Oakland Athletics and New York Mets. He was born on March 10, 1991, in San Diego, California. Blackburn attended the University of San Diego and was drafted by the Athletics in the 2010 MLB draft. He made his MLB debut in 2014 and has since become a reliable starting pitcher for the Mets.
