Orit Sackler

Orit Sackler is an Israeli poet, writer and editor. She was born in 1969 in Haifa, Israel, to Jewish immigrants from Morocco. She received her BA and MA degrees at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem. She has published many poetry collections and essays, as well as being a literary critic for various publications. Sackler is also known for her activism against the Israeli military occupation.
