Omar al Bashir

Omar al Bashir was the President of Sudan from 1990 to 2019. He was the leader of the Sudanese government during the Darfur conflict and was charged with war crimes by the International Criminal Court. He was ousted from power in 2019 and is currently in detention. Al Bashir is also known for his authoritarian rule and human rights abuses.
