Nikolai Podgorny
Russian agronomist and politician
Nikolai Podgorny was a Russian agronomist and politician who served as the Chairman of the Presidium of the Supreme Soviet of the Soviet Union from 1964 to 1968. He was a prominent figure in the Soviet agricultural sector and was known for his work on agricultural policy and planning. Podgorny was also a member of the Communist Party of the Soviet Union and held various positions in the Soviet government.
