Nicholas Godejohn is an American man who was convicted of murdering his girlfriend, Dee Dee Blanchard, in 2015. Godejohn met Gypsy Rose online and the two began a romantic relationship. Godejohn traveled to Missouri to meet Gypsy in person and the two conspired to murder Dee Dee. Godejohn was found guilty of first-degree murder and was sentenced to life in prison without parole. Godejohn has since become a symbol of the dangers of online relationships and the exploitation of vulnerable individuals.
