Narcisse Pelletier

Narcisse Pelletier was a French cabin boy who was abandoned on the coast of far north Queensland in 1858. He was taken in by the people of Night Island, where he lived with an Australian Aboriginal family. Pelletier's story is a remarkable example of survival and resilience in the face of adversity.
