Meda DeWitt

Meda DeWitt is an independent candidate running for Alaska's governor. She has deep ties to Southeast Alaska's Indigenous heritage and extensive grassroots experience. Inspired by civil rights icon Elizabeth Peratrovich, DeWitt combines traditional wisdom with modern governance. As a mother of eight and longtime community organizer, she addresses housing, education, and economic issues without proposing new taxes.
