Matt Cvetic

Matt Cvetic is a Slovenian-American former FBI informant. He was a key witness in the HUAC (House Un-American Activities Committee) hearings in the 1950s. Cvetic's story was dramatized in the 1951 film I Was a Communist for the FBI. He has spoken publicly about his experiences as a snitch and the impact it had on his life. Cvetic has also written about his experiences in his memoir, The FBI Informant: My 25 Years in the FBI.
