About Marvin
Marvin Hamlisch was an American composer, pianist, and conductor. He is best known for his work on the musicals Chorus Line and They're Playing Our Song, as well as his film scores, which include The Way We Were and The Sting. Hamlisch won three Academy Awards and was nominated for a total of eight. He was also a Grammy and Emmy winner. Hamlisch was born in 1944 and died in 2012.
