Mandisa Maya is a South African judge. She is the first black woman to serve on the South African Constitutional Court. Maya was appointed as a judge of the High Court of South Africa in 2006 and later became a judge of the Constitutional Court in 2011. She is known for her expertise in constitutional law and human rights. Maya has also been involved in various academic and research activities, including teaching at the University of Pretoria and publishing articles on constitutional law and human rights.
