Maha Maya was a queen of the Shakya kingdom in ancient India. She was the wife of King Suddhodana and the mother of Siddhartha Gautama, the future Buddha. According to legend, Maha Maya was a devout follower of the Hindu goddess Durga and was known for her beauty and piety. She was also said to have been a skilled healer and was revered for her wisdom and compassion. Maha Maya played an important role in the life of her son, Siddhartha, and was said to have been a source of inspiration and guidance for him as he embarked on his spiritual journey.
