Lucy Flores

Lucy Flores is an American politician and activist. She served as a member of the Nevada Assembly from 2011 to 2017 and was the first Latina to hold the position of Speaker of the Nevada Assembly. Flores is also the CEO of Luz Collective, a non-profit organization that aims to promote social justice and equality. She has been open about her experiences with sexism and misogyny in politics, and has used her platform to advocate for women's rights. Flores has also been involved in various other social justice movements, including the fight against climate change.
