Leon Battista Alberti

Leon Battista Alberti was an Italian humanist and polymath of the Renaissance. He was a painter, architect, writer, and philosopher. Alberti was a key figure in the revival of classical learning in Italy during the 15th century. He was a prominent figure in the development of humanism and made significant contributions to the fields of art, architecture, and literature. Alberti was born in Genoa, Italy in 1404 and died in Florence, Italy in 1472. He is considered one of the most important figures of the Italian Renaissance.
