Lee Charnley is the current Managing Director of Newcastle United Football Club. He has been in charge since 2017, but left his position in 2020 after a poor run of results. Before taking over as MD, he was part of Ashley's inner circle and worked closely with Mike Ashley to oversee the day-to-day operations of the club.
