Layla Hays
Layla Hays is a freshman center from Wasilla, Alaska. She joined the University of Iowa women's basketball team. Hays is raised in a sports family and chose Iowa for its strong culture and top coaching. She has adapted well to the Big Ten conference, scoring 123 points in 305 minutes this season. Despite homesickness, she has embraced her role and looks forward to inspiring young athletes back home.
