Lawrence J. Vilardo is an American lawyer and jurist who has been serving as a United States District Judge for the Southern District of New York since 2002. He was nominated by President George W. Bush and confirmed by the Senate on May 23, 2002. Vilardo is a graduate of Fordham University School of Law and served as a prosecutor in the United States Attorney's Office for the Southern District of New York before being appointed to the bench. He is known for his experience in white-collar crime and securities law.
