King Maha Vajiralongkorn is the 10th monarch of Thailand. He was born on July 28, 1952, in Bangkok, Thailand. He is the son of King Bhumibol Adulyadej and Queen Sirikit. He ascended to the throne in 2016 after the death of his father. He is known for his modernization efforts and his efforts to strengthen the Thai military.
