Kazuo Ishikawa is a renowned Ainu language expert and scholar who has spent his career studying the Ainu language and culture. He is a professor at a Japanese university and has written several books on the subject. Ishikawa is also a fluent speaker of Ainu and has worked with Ainu communities to promote their language and culture. He is based in Sapporo, Japan.
