Katherine Spillar is an American feminist icon and the Executive Director of the Feminist Majority. She has been a leading voice on issues of women's rights and social justice for over three decades. Spillar has written extensively on topics such as reproductive rights, LGBTQ+ rights, and economic justice. She has also been a frequent commentator on TV shows and podcasts. Spillar has worked with various organizations including the National Organization for Women and the American Civil Liberties Union. She has also been a strong advocate for progressive causes and has been involved in various social justice movements. Spillar was born in 1963 in New York City and grew up in a family of activists. She graduated from Barnard College and later earned a master's degree in public policy from Harvard University.
