Karen Bronga

Karen Bronga was an influential Anchorage Assembly member known for her bold independence and fierce advocacy for public access to Chugach State Park trails. Elected in 2023, she was admired by colleagues for her willingness to challenge the status quo. Tragically, she died in a head-on collision on the Sterling Highway.
