Jules Boykoff

Jules Boykoff is a professor of sociology at Pacific University, where he teaches courses on sports, culture, and politics. He is also a former professional and Olympic athlete, and has written extensively on the social and cultural impacts of sports. Boykoff is known for his critical perspective on the Olympics and other sports events, and has been a vocal advocate for more equitable and sustainable approaches to sports. When he's not teaching or writing, Boykoff enjoys hiking and playing music. He is based in Eugene, Oregon.
