Jon Huntsman Jr. is an American politician who served as the 49th Governor of Utah from 2005 to 2009. He later became the 23rd United States Ambassador to China from 2009 to 2011, and was the Republican Party's nominee for President in the 2012 election. He has also served as the United States Ambassador to Russia from 2017 to 2018.
