Scottish theologian and reformer
John Knox was a Scottish theologian and reformer who played a key role in the Protestant Reformation in Scotland. He was a key figure in the development of Reformed theology and was instrumental in shaping the theology of the Presbyterian Church in Scotland. Knox was born in Haddington, Scotland in 1514 and died in Edinburgh, Scotland in 1572. He was a fierce opponent of Catholicism and was known for his strong advocacy of the principles of the Reformation.
