John G. Roberts

John Glover Roberts Jr. is an American lawyer and jurist who has been serving as the Chief Justice of the United States since 2005. He was nominated by President George W. Bush and confirmed by the Senate. Before becoming Chief Justice, Roberts served on the United States Court of Appeals for the District of Columbia Circuit. He is a graduate of Harvard Law School and Harvard College. Roberts is known for his conservative judicial philosophy and his role in shaping the Supreme Court's decisions on issues such as campaign finance and national security. He is also known for his distinctive judicial style, which has been described as 'the most conservative justice on the court'.
