Jon Cooper is an American ice hockey coach who has been the head coach of the Tampa Bay Lightning of the National Hockey League (NHL) since 2013. He was previously the head coach of the Syracuse Crunch of the American Hockey League (AHL). Cooper has led the Lightning to three consecutive Stanley Cup Final appearances and was named the NHL's Coach of the Year in 2015 and 2016.
