John Byner is an American stand-up comedian, actor, and writer. He is best known for hosting the sketch comedy show Bizarre. Byner has appeared in numerous TV shows and films, including The Tonight Show Starring Johnny Carson and The Muppet Show. He has also written for several TV shows and has been a regular performer at comedy clubs. Byner has been married to actress and comedian, Carol Burnett's, sister, Elaine Smigel, since 1983.
