John Browning

John Moses Browning was an American firearms designer, inventor, and engineer. He is widely regarded as one of the most influential firearms designers in history. Browning was born in 1855 in Ogden, Utah, and began his career as a gunsmith at a young age. He went on to design some of the most iconic firearms of the 20th century, including the Browning M1911 pistol and the Browning M2 machine gun. Browning was a prolific inventor and held over 100 patents in his name. He was also a skilled shooter and competed in various shooting competitions throughout his life. Browning died in 1926 at the age of 71.
