João Victor Soares is a Brazilian researcher and expert on Umbanda and Carnival. He holds a degree in Journalism from the Unifor and has worked as a monitor of disciplines in Art and Culture Brazilian and Anthropology of Communication. Currently, he is a researcher and studies Umbanda, Carnival, and media. He is based in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.
