Jim Yong Kim

Jim Yong Kim is a Korean-American physician, economist, and public servant. He is the 12th president of the World Bank Group, a position he has held since 2012. Kim is a professor of health policy and management at Harvard Medical School and a professor of international health at Harvard University. He has also served as the executive director of the World Health Organization (WHO) and as the president of Dartmouth College. Kim has received several awards for his work, including the National Academy of Medicine's Global Health Award. He is a graduate of Yale University and has an MBA from Harvard Business School. Kim is based in Washington, D.C.
