Jeffrey A. Friedman is a professor of political science at the University of Illinois at Springfield. He has written extensively on US foreign policy, international relations, and media studies. Friedman's book, The Commander-in-Chief Test: Public Opinion and the Politics of Image-Making in US Foreign Policy, explores how American presidents use image-making to shape public opinion on foreign policy issues.
