Jean Bodin

Jean Bodin was a French philosopher and historian who lived in the 16th century. He is best known for his work on the concept of sovereignty and his book 'Les Six Livres de la République'. He was a prominent figure in the French Renaissance and was known for his expertise on history and politics. He died in 1586 at the age of 55. He is considered one of the most important figures in French intellectual history.
