Jamie Pedersen

Jamie Pedersen is an American politician serving as the Senate Majority Leader of Washington. He is a member of the Democratic Party and has been serving in the Washington State Senate since 2013. Prior to his election, Pedersen worked as a lawyer and a community organizer. He is known for his advocacy on issues related to education, healthcare, and social justice. Pedersen is openly gay and has been recognized for his work in promoting LGBTQ+ rights. He is also a graduate of the University of Washington and has a law degree from the University of Washington School of Law.
