Jamie Babbit

Jamie Babbit is an American film director and writer. She is best known for her work on the 1999 film But I'm a Cheerleader, which she wrote and directed. Babbit has also directed several other films, including I Shot Andy Warhol and But I'm a Cheerleader 2: Clear Hearts, Bright Lights. She has been recognized for her contributions to the LGBTQ+ community, and has been involved in various advocacy efforts. Babbit has also taught film at several institutions, including the University of Southern California.
