About Ishirō
Ishirō Honda was a renowned Japanese film director and screenwriter, best known for his work on the Godzilla film series. Born in 1911, Honda began his career in cinema in the 1930s and went on to direct several notable films, including 'Radio Manas' (1949) and 'Rodan' (1956). His most famous creation is, of course, the iconic monster, Godzilla.
