Hitham Al-Jawad is an Iraqi novelist and short story writer. He was born in 1975 in Baghdad, Iraq. Al-Jawad has written several novels and short story collections, including 'The Earth Ruins' (2017). His work often explores themes of identity, politics, and social change in Iraq. Al-Jawad has received several awards for his writing, including the Iraqi Writers' Union Award.
