Hernán Cortés

Hernán Cortés was a Spanish conquistador and governor of New Spain. He led the expedition that conquered the Aztec Empire and is considered one of the most important figures in Mexican history. Cortés was a skilled military leader and politician who played a key role in the Spanish colonization of the Americas.
