About Henriette

Henriette d'Angleterre, born in 1644, was the daughter of King Charles I of England and sister-in-law to King Louis XIV of France. She married Philippe I, Duke of Orléans, the younger brother of Louis XIV. Her untimely death at the age of 26 in 1670 remains a historical mystery, sparking much intrigue and speculation.
