Helen Mar Kimball

Helen Mar Kimball was the wife of Joseph Smith, the founder of the Latter Day Saint movement. She was born in 1818 in New York and grew up in a family of modest means. Helen married Joseph Smith in 1843, and the couple had several children together. She was a strong supporter of her husband's teachings and played an important role in the early days of the Mormon church. Helen was known for her piety and her devotion to her family. She died in 1885 at the age of 67.
